Industry Veteran Steve Craddock Joins SeaChange Board of Directors

Former Comcast, Bell Atlantic/AT&T Executive Known for His Technology Prowess in DOCSIS, VoIP, DSL, FTTH, In-Home Networking and More

ACTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC), a leading global multi-screen video software innovator, today announced the appointment of industry veteran Steve Craddock to its Board of Directors. Craddock, a well-known executive in the cable and telecommunications industries, will also serve on the Company’s Audit Committee.

Craddock is president of The Del Ray Group, LLC, an independent consulting firm that provides services to high-technology and financial clients focused on the media and telecommunications market segments.

Previously Craddock was with Comcast for many years, last serving as senior vice president of technology in the office of the CTO. Craddock led many of Comcast’s seminal development efforts in voice, data and video technologies and services. He also represented Comcast on CableLabs’ development of the DOCSIS and PacketCable specifications, and was a founding member of CableLabs’ DOCSIS Certification Board.

Prior to Comcast, Craddock was a vice president at Bell Atlantic and a principal technology figure in the company’s DSL, FTTH, cable TV, and Video-on-Demand initiatives. He was also a founding member and board member of Bell Atlantic Video Services, the company’s video programming affiliate. Craddock’s career with Bell Atlantic/AT&T spanned more than 20 years in engineering, operations, product development and strategic planning.

Craddock graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a BSCE/EE and was a distinguished military graduate. He did graduate work in finance and economics at Iowa State University, and completed numerous intense study programs sponsored by AT&T in engineering and computer science. He is an alumnus of the Board of Directors College program at Stanford University Law School and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Audit Committee Effectiveness Program.

He has served as an independent director on the boards of numerous public and private companies, holds a professional director certification from the American College of Corporate Directors, and is a member of the Corporate Directors Group. He currently serves as an independent director on the Board of Maxlinear, Inc (NASDAQ:MXL).
