Competition to Reward Rapid Video Innovation and Collaboration with iPads, Game Bundles and Other Prizes
ACTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The call is on for software developers to bring the next big idea in personal video applications to the first Unleash Video Codefest, Sept. 29-30, in Cambridge, Mass. Presented by multi-screen software innovator SeaChange International, Inc. (Nasdaq: SEAC), the Unleash Video Codefest encourages competing teams to fast-track their app concepts for tablet, smart phone, TV and other devices through an environment of intensive collaboration and professional guidance into working prototypes for exciting prizes.

A judges’ panel and codefest peers will determine the winning teams in three categories: undergraduate, graduate and professional team winners for Best Application will receive Microsoft Xbox/Kinect game bundles or Visa gift cards; the team producing the Best User Interface will be rewarded with Amazon Kindle Fires; and the team winning People’s Choice will receive Apple iPads.
