Multi-Screen and Over-the-Top Video Solution Now Integrates Envivio Three Screens Encoding and Supports Adobe Flash and Access, and Apple iPad Users

ACTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Digital television leader SeaChange International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SEAC) announced today customer availability of its Intelligent Video Platform 2.0, which now includes support for Adobe's new Flash Player(R) 10.1 software and Flash(R) Access 2.0 content protection, integrates Envivio's 4Caster(TM) C42 encoders and enables HTTP live and on-demand streaming to the Apple iPad. Demonstrations at The Cable Show in Los Angeles will show the Intelligent Video Platform's flexibility with on-demand content streaming to extend the business of on-demand television to set-tops, PCs, mobile phones and enable over-the-top video.

The open Intelligent Video Platform combines SeaChange's market-leading standards-based Axiom(R) On Demand content delivery system with its Axiom AdrenalinTM mobile video system to form a modular solution to deliver video-on-demand and advanced advertising to any screen, anywhere, using a single, integrated platform. Several SeaChange Axiom On Demand cable television customers in the Americas, Europe and Asia are preparing to deploy the Intelligent Video Platform in support of multi-screen video initiatives. SeaChange anticipates announcing these deployments later this year.

Also introduced in the Intelligent Video Platform 2.0, Adobe's Flash Player 10.1 software for smartphones, smartbooks, netbooks, PCs and other Internet-connected devices, which provides an open rich video streaming platform.
