Greece's Largest Telco OTE Selects On Demand Group to Manage On-Demand Television Service

On Demand Group (ODG), a subsidiary of SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC), will provide an outsourced video-on-demand solution to the Hellenic Telecommunication Organisation S.A. (OTE). OTE, Greece's largest telco with 5 million fixed lines and over 700,000 broadband customers, has plans to extend its service offering and roll-out IPTV services to its customer base.

U.K. based ODG is Europe's leading video-on-demand content acquisition and management partner to operators including one of Europe's largest cable operators, Virgin Media. ODG helped establish Virgin Media's TV on-demand service, which now serves 3.2 million homes, and has been actively expanding in Europe, working in the Spanish, Italian, German and Austrian markets.
