Next week at The Cable Show, SeaChange International (NASDAQ: SEAC) will unveil its anticipated new generation of open software and server solutions that radically enhance on-demand television performance and economics and ensure a range of new opportunities for operators. The industry pacesetter's lead-off innovations: Axiom Core 4.0, the latest version of the world's most widely deployed on-demand management software, which now supports third-party servers from Cisco, Concurrent and Motorola; and the 100-percent flash-based SeaChange MediaServer Flash Streamer.

Introducing SeaChange Axiom Core 4.0: Comprehensive, Highly Scalable and Wide Open

Taking its cues from the experience of delivering billions of on-demand streams in over 100 diverse settings, the new Axiom Core 4.0 is an open software solution that automates television's rapidly expanding core services and seamlessly manages next generation applications including network PVR and broadband PC/mobile delivery and subscriber place-shifting.

From its inception, Axiom Core software was developed to cover every aspect of subscriber management (tight coordination of sub data with the back office); content management, support and delivery (optimizing content placement in the network); operations support (extensive performance monitoring and reporting); and business decision support (conveying historical data in support of new businesses including dynamic ad insertion).
